At the end of the Second World War Art Nouveau, Art Nouveau, the XXX of carefree Belle Epoque, will be unseated by Art Deco. As an architectural style it's a lot more bare, functional, with basic ornaments, but using the noblest of materials : marble, fine woods with wrought iron and glass stained windows in geomatrical designs.
Post-modernism of the 80s is the modern day architecture of the end of the XXth century which distance itself of the dictatorship of modernism.
The tour we organized for you will show you some of the beautiful realizations of the Art Deco period (Fine Arts Palace, Hotel Empain and more) and of 80s post-modernism (entry of the Avenue Louise, head offices of the KBC bank,....)
Possibility to visit the museum Alice and David Van Buuren or the Hotel Empain (to be determined during reservation).
The entry fees of the musea are not included in the price.
